What WhatsApp requires

  • Automated marketing messages go only to opted-in contacts and only as Meta-approved templates.
  • Free-form automated replies are allowed inside the 24-hour customer-service window; outside it a flow must use a template.
  • Everything runs on the official Cloud API; Waki does not automate WhatsApp Web or unofficial clients.

What can I automate on WhatsApp with Waki?
Welcome replies, keyword answers, reminders, follow-ups after a form or purchase, alerts from Google Sheets and messages triggered by your own systems through webhooks. Marketing-type messages go out as approved templates.
Do I need a developer?
Not for the flow builder, Google Sheets triggers or Pabbly Connect. Webhooks and the REST API are there when a developer wants to connect your own software.
How many automations can I run?
The number of automation workflows depends on the plan; Enterprise lists unlimited automations. See the pricing page for the current limits.
Can automation and my team share one number?
Yes. Flows and agents work on the same number; whatever a flow does not resolve waits in the shared inbox with the history.

Can a flow send messages days after the trigger?
Yes, with delay steps, but a message outside the customer-service window must be an approved template, and the contact must have opted in.
