WhatsApp Broadcast Service

A WhatsApp broadcast sends one approved message to an entire opted-in list at the same moment: a launch, a price change, a festival offer, a closure notice. Waki runs broadcasts on the official Meta API, so they go out from software with delivery and read tracking instead of from a phone's broadcast list.

How Waki delivers WhatsApp Broadcast

Choose the segment, pick the approved template, personalise with contact attributes and send now or at a set time. Recurring broadcasts repeat on a schedule, and every reply lands in the shared team inbox where your team or a flow can answer.

Who it is for

  • Brands and stores announcing offers, launches and festival sales
  • Institutes, societies and organisers sending notices to members and students
  • Service businesses sending seasonal reminders to their whole customer base
  • Teams that currently forward the same message by hand from several phones
What you get

Everything WhatsApp Broadcast needs, on the official API

Each of these is a feature of the Waki app today, not a roadmap item.

  • Broadcast to segments

Send one approved template to a group or segment; each message carries that contact's details.

  • Scheduling and recurrence

Send at a set time or on a repeating schedule instead of sending by hand.

  • Delivery, read and reply counts

Per-campaign tracking shows how the broadcast landed and who replied.

  • Replies in one place

Answers to a broadcast land in the shared inbox for agents or an automation flow.

  • Opt-in managed lists

Opt-in and opt-out status sits on every contact, so a broadcast never reaches someone who left.

  • Template approval

Write templates in the app, submit them to Meta and see their approval status before the first broadcast.

How it works

From sign-up to the first message

The steps for WhatsApp Broadcast with Waki, from connecting a number to the first send.

  1. Step 1

    Segment the audience

Pick the group or build a segment from attributes; only opted-in contacts are included.

  2. Step 2

    Approve the template

Write the broadcast as a template and submit it to Meta; approval is needed before the first send.

  3. Step 3

    Schedule the broadcast

Send now, at a set time or on a recurring schedule, with variables filled per contact.

  4. Step 4

    Handle the replies

Answer from the shared inbox or let a flow take the common questions; read the campaign report.

Rules and pricing, in plain words

What WhatsApp requires

  • Broadcasts are marketing messages: every recipient must have opted in, and the template must be approved by Meta.
  • A reply opens a 24-hour customer-service window in which your team can answer free-form.
  • Waki sends through the official Cloud API only; no WhatsApp Web automation, no unofficial senders.

What WhatsApp Broadcast costs

FAQ

Questions about WhatsApp Broadcast

How is a Waki broadcast different from a broadcast list in the WhatsApp app?
A Waki broadcast goes out through the official API from software: to a segment within your Meta messaging limit, personalised per contact, scheduled if you want, with delivery and reply tracking. The app's broadcast list is manual and tied to one phone.
Can I send a broadcast at a fixed time every week?
Yes. Recurring campaigns repeat on the schedule you set; campaign scheduling is included on the Professional plan and above.
Will my number get blocked for broadcasting?
Not for sending approved templates to opted-in contacts through the official API. Numbers get restricted when people report or block them, so keep lists opted-in and messages relevant.
How much does a broadcast service cost?
Plans from ₹699/month, billed in INR with GST tax invoices. Pay for your first month or year at checkout; turn on auto-pay later if you want. Pay yearly and get two months free. Cancel anytime from the app. Prices exclude 18% GST, which is added at checkout. WhatsApp conversation charges set by Meta are separate from the plan.
Can I see who read the message?
Each campaign shows delivered, read and replied counts, and the conversation reports show what happened next.
Can people reply to a broadcast?
Yes, and they often do. Replies arrive in the shared team inbox, can be assigned to an agent and can also be answered by an automation flow.
